(11:50am) We got a message from Lisa! She mentioned something in the text about taking a leap. We then turned on the television and to no surprise, it was a video message from Lisa, explaining that our task for today would include us doing Kong Fu? This should be an interesting day! Haha!

So we rushed off to get ready, got into our Supermodelme mobile and headed off to Wufang Singapore! We were greeted by a Martial Arts Demostration by the instructor, and two young boys and it was AMAZING! It’s crazing how this art is so powerful, yet graceful!

After the demonstration, the instructor greeted us and said that the Martial Art we just witnessed was called Wushu, and that for our challenge today, we will have to learn a routine then perform it in front of everyone! Asha and I were paired up and Tiffany was paired up with Nansi for training. It was quite a difficult routine but Asha and I eventually got it while Tiffany and Nansi were struggling. I practiced constantly trying to perfect the moves.

The competition was an individual challenge and when I performed I remembered everything and executed it quite well. I’m glas that my hardwork with practicing paid off!

After everyone was done, I was announced as the winner! YAY! I was then told that I won an overnight stay at the loft at Orchard Parksuites!!!!! And I could bring a friend. I chose to bring Asha because she also executed the Wushu stunts very well and she deserved it. I’m really happy to have won!

Asha and I were brought to the Orchard Parksuites and we got a lovely one-bedroom, two-story loft and a beautiful dinner set all ready for us! It was a wonderful plate of delicious Smoked Salmon, Green Salad and Tasty Cheese, ALL FOR THE FIRST COURSE. Then we moved on to the second which was Fish with a rich, creamy sauce that was absolutely breath-taking, and grilled vegetables.

The meal was oh-so-delicious, and it was also nice to have a couple of glasses of wine, on top of that! After out, very scrumptious meal, we checked out the freezer and saw an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery!! It was an AMAZING dessert
Oh so Yummy.

This truly was a great prize!

Wire Stunt Photo Challenge

(7:30am) We met Lisa along with the day’s photographer, Joel Lim in some random place, and I was slightly confused when I saw the location! HAHA. We were told that for Today’s photo-challenge, we would be suspended on cables whilst “fighting” today’s male model *surprise surprise* MITCH! WHAAAT??! So random haha! I’ll be going third, after Asha. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed to do well so I can make it to the top 3!

(12:30pm) Having an Uncle Toby’s yogurt tops to keep my energy up for the photoshoot!

(3:00pm) PHOTOSHOOT IS NOW DONE! It was so fun being up on the cables! I felt like superman! The harness was so uncomfortable though! My crotch was in so much pain! To be honest, I’ve got mixed emotions about the shoot today because Lisa and Joel said my face wasn’t being strong enough =( They got a few shots with good facial emotion though, on the bright side, they said they very much liked my poses! And I’m glad for that!

I really thought about my poses and even stretched my legs out no matter how painful it was. The only thing I kept my mind focused on was having a good set of photos, so I’m glad they turned out like I had hoped. I really wish the panel of judges will like my photo and that I can get through to the Top 3! Xx

Elimination

Oh wow… Todays elimination was interesting.

The stakes are getting higher and the competition is definitely heating up! At elimination the tension in the room could be cut with a knife. I was feeling nervous and there were butterflies in my tummy flying around everywhere! No matter how well I think I do in my photoshoot challenge there’s always a chance of elimination, which is really scary! I don’t want to go!!!
During judging, we were given comments by the judges on our performance and photo. My comments were good and I was told I gave a good variety of poses and expressions and I’m really happy to hear that my hard work had paid off! Daniel even said that he could have used any of my shots!

Then we were all asked why we deserved to be in the top three. Tough questions!

Today I got TOP PHOTO again!! SOOOO HAPPY!! (: Tiffany got next, Nansi and Asha were in the bottom two. The elimination results then came in and it was Asha who got last. BUT WAIT!!!!… Nansi got through but Lisa walked up to Asha and said that there was no elimination today! I was utterly shocked, I didn’t know what to say!

I know Asha had been given an extra chance and wasn’t eliminated this week! I was immediately happy she was still her, I was equally annoyed and sad that I’m not yet in the top 3. We all put in effort to create a good photo, and when someone ends up with the worst and is eliminated, they deserve to be! The fact that Asha got a second chance, meant that I’m not yet in the top 3 .
Meant that I need to go through another Task, another Challenge and another Elimination!

Nevertheless, we conga-lined out of the safety platform. HAHA. One more week to go! I’m gonna keep my focus. NOTHING will stop me from doing my best in the nest photo challenge. Xx

Rock Star Photo Challenge

Today we are back at St.James Power House for our next photo-challenge. We met up with Lisa, who introduced us to the photographer for today. Kevin Ou, who is well known for shooting big celebrities.

We were told that for today’s challenge, we will be singing up front with the band, SIXX, playing “Supersonic” behind us. We are not supposed to look like models, but we must look like rockstars performing….

Oh no…. okay…I’ll try to fake it.

So I did.. AHHHHH… and OMG. This was the most challenging shoot for me so far! I apparently looked like I had no energy for the first part of the photo shoot. Though I picked up for the last couple of songs and some good shots, but I’m still quite disappointed with myself. I forgot the majority of the song as well!

I really hope the judges like some of my photos, hopefully i have a good enough photo to place me in the Top 3! Fingers Crossed! x

Casting Call & Rock star Task

Task was heaps fun today!

First we had a casting call for Starhub Internet TV. We had to memorise a script within 15 minutes. I think I did alright. Well, I know I did my best! Then we kinda had a treat at St.James Power House! There was a stage in the center and Kevin, Erika from SIXX performed their song Super Sonic!

They are so good! LIVE! For real! Then they gave us some tips on how to perform like a rockstar on stage. I had so much fun on stage, just losing myself. Apparently the tips they gave us is gonna help us in our next photo challenge! Eeek! So can’t wait man!!!
