Towering above the other girls in the competition is none other than Hong Kong beauty, Venus Hung. With her love for basketball, swimming and volleyball, along with her good genetics, it is no wonder why this energetic individual stands at a 1.78 meter high.

With individuality, knowledge and sophistication as three of her core values, Venus believes that good job prospects and recognition comes with hard work. Often described as a born-leader, Venus has impeccable communication skills and often resolves conflict between her friends and peers. Throughout her school life, Venus showed leadership and confidence. She held the role of Class vice president and was Head of other extra-curricular activities clubs.

As a quick learner who is patient and enthusiastic, Venus believes her leadership traits would differentiate her from the rest in the competition. “I am prepared emotionally, physically and mentally for Supermodelme and through commitment and motivation; I will perform to the best of my ability.”

Roller Derby Task

We got Lisa’s message when we got up! It’s something about fight with each other and rolling. I was kinda curious. So after having some awesome tasting Nestle Fitnesse Cereal, we headed off to “Old School”. There, we saw a bunch of people who’re rollerskating. It looks so much fun!

We learnt how to rollerskate & how to stop in a proper way during the training session. It was fun.

Then we played the game “Cramage”. Jac, Asha and I were in Team white. Jac was chosen to be the jammers. She need to push other people with shoulders or butt. But she broke the rules. She pushed people with elbow. Even though we won, because Jac broke the rules, we have to play another game, that was “last rings” (not sure if the name of the game is correct…) Deanna won. And I’m so happy that she picked me to share the prize!!!

Roller Girls Photo Challenge

Yesterday’s roller derby experience, was pretty fun though it was so so crazily intense and I have a freaking bad ankle!
And today’s photochallenge was wearing rollerskate shoes to shoot. The mood was quirky, have fun movements. I like my outfit and make-up bacause it’s so colourful and playful. Monsoon did a wonderful job in curling my hair!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH (; And it wnet pretty darn well with my Shiseido makeup! Especially because I had this quirky spark to it! Pfft, all in all, I’m still very disappointed because I didn’t perform best as I had a swollen ankle, but it’s not an excuse. I did try though and at least I managed to do a little cam-whoring!!… Lets just see how the next elimination goes.

Elimination

Elimination day.

Pfft. I feel terrible.

Kinda scared because I’m not sure if I have some great shoots from the photo challenge. Can’t wear heels as I still had a swollen ankle. The judges didn’t really like my picture. Since there’re just 6 of us, the judges were kinda “picky”. I was told to lose weight. I had a bad feeling that I’d be the bottom 3. Well, I was the bottom 2 this time because there’re just 6of us, so 4 are saved. When Lisa asked me something, I really didn’t know what to say because I was the bottom 3 last week. I’ve already said what I want. I’m sorry to Lisa. I know she had a high expectation on me…:(
I will miss everything in the house. All the amazing people, my bed, food……

Underwater Photo Challenge

Today’s photo challenge was un underwater shoot. I was the first one to shoot. I was really excited because I’m not afraid of water AT ALL. I like water and all kinds of water activities. I was not worried about anything before the shoot because I’m confident. Shooting in the pool should be alright for me. I was having so much fun during the shoot. It’s easier than I thought. The hardest thing was to hold my breathe. I tried to move a lot because the theme of this photo challenge is softless & movement.

I need to control my facial expression and my dress. Because when I went down to the pool, my dress was flowing, it sometimes covered my face. In general, I was completely comfortable having the underwater shoot. I enjoyed it a lot and I’m quite confident that I’ll get some great shoots. I mean, I really enjoyed the whole shooting process. It’s something I really like doing and having so much fun at the same time.

I guess this competition has really thought me alot. Taught me to be more versatile, independent and adventurous. I just really hope my shoot turns out that way. It’s really scary because I see all these girls doing so well that I feel the need to push myself to do brilliant as well. They are all super professional, and so is the photographer, Aaron and the stylist, Verna.

I’m just glad to be given this unique opportunity to be here. Though being underwater during a shoot is not really something that I am extremely comfortable with (mainly because I am not experienced!) But through learning and determination, the experience is worth all the pain!!

Right after the photo challenge, we headed to Universal Studios for elimination. I was confident because I think I did quite good for the photo challenge.

The judges were Rebecca, Ana R and Dom. They like my picture but there are two minor things I can improve. That will be my hair and my neck. In General, not bad! So I wasn’t worried at all. Turned out, I was in the bottom three. I was so afraid that it would be me leaving. It’s impossible to explain how it feels until you end up being eliminated yourself, but I can sure say that it was nerve-wracking and that it was hard to see Isabelle go.

Elimination is always such a mess and so confusing because you don’t know how to feel. . Although I was saved eventually. I still don’t understand why I’d be the bottom three. Why??? So many question marks in my mind!

Anyway it’s a great relief that I’m still here, I’m sad for Isabelle leaving. I still wished it were Jackie or Deanna who leaves. To be quite frank I think Jackie still shouldn’t even be here. I don’t want Isabelle gone!! Isabelle’s such a lovely girl. She’s so sweet.

On a side note, I don’t know why or how I did badly to be in the bottom three this week and I need to step it up, I really know that. But hey, if it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience and I’ve to learn from it.
