As an introvert, Danielle takes time to open up to people. She believes that having a few close friends who are always there for you no matter the distance is far better than, having many and none of them there when you need them.
Elimination
I knew my picture was the weakest this week based on all the judges comments. Mentally prepared myself that I was going home because I could feel it in my bones that I was.. Thought I would break down as Ive already prepared myself. But when Lisa came out from our plea, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment in myself. I know I could have done better than what I did.
Being in this competition has taught me so much about myself and how much I really want to succeed as a model. I’ve met so many wonderful people here- the girls, Lisa, the judges and definitely the crew as well.
After elimination, Lisa came to talk to me and I felt even more motivated and inspired to work even harder. I know this is only the beginning for me so I should stop my crying. Everything happens for a reason and I’m really glad I was given the opportunity to even be here. I’ve learnt and grown so much, not just as a model but as a person as well. I don’t regret ever signing up for this and I really appreciate everything that has happened here.
If anything, this experience has made me stronger.
To the girls, good luck & I wish all of you the best! <3
It was awesome getting to know every single one of you
Celebrity Apprentice Task
TASK:
Wondering what our task challenge was for the week? Well well, so we received a Supermodelme message from Lisa mentioning something about being brand ambassadors and selling a product. The team that got the most profits would win and get rewarded. I was in Team A together with Tiffany, Venus and Isabelle. I was super excited though we initially didn’t know anything about what we were going to be doing or selling!
So we got on the van and arrived at Orchard Central’s Cold Stone Creamery. UH HUH! We had to sell Cold Stone Creamery’s ice cream! That’s wonderful! OMG. We were just talking bout making our own ice cream in the house (Because majority/all of us were craving) the night before! ESTATIC! Because we had a few cups of ice cream that we shared amongst us.
Each team had to sell 2 flavours. Ours were “Devotion to Chocolate” and “Oreo Overload,” both EQUALLY DELICIOUS! We decorated our booth and I really like the “path” that led our customers to our booth =D After decorating our “Cold Stone Booth” Tiffany and I were responsible to source for customers, while Isabelle and Venus, had to mend the booth.
I was so excited and once our challenge began, Tiff and I ran to get customers. We targeted parents with Kids because Kids love Ice cream yes??! I really looked like a fool, but well, all for a challenge’s win! Tiff saw some tourists from Australia and immediately connected with them to get them to buy ice cream from our stall.
So in the end, both teams sold 44 cups of ice cream… PHEW.
BUT BUT BUT Wait,… We had to wait for the results and it was probably the most nerve wrecking thing in the entire world!! We really wanted to win so badly because we thought the prize would be an ice cream buffet or something along those lines, HAHA.
So Lisa said one team must have given the wrong change and the difference is ONE dollar. unfortunately, though both teams sold the same amount of icecream, our team was the team that lost by ONE DOLLAR! So the other team won a shopping spree at Orchard Central! I’m really disappointed we didn’t win this, but at least we got to eat the left over ice cream!! YUM.
Challenge:
Arrived at Geoff Studio again for our fifth photoshoot challenge! Have no idea what our concept will be today. Am the last to shoot AGAIN hahah
Had our hair and make up done and we all looked really 80s. Then Lisa mentioned that the concept for today’s shoot is ‘longing’ and that we are going to see this guy whom we met during a holiday for the last time. It’s our last kiss/intimate moment together AND she had a surprise for us…..that we would be shooting with MTV VJ Utt!! hahaha
Loved the hair, make up AND wardrobe today. Was wearing a coat and had a pair of leather gloves. LOVE LOVE LOVE the leather gloves! Was really nervous while waiting for my turn. As i watched the other girls do their shoot, i became even more nervous. I was so worried that I would burst out laughing in between takes! So i refused to watch and just sat aside and calm myself down.
Finally it was my turn, and all my nervousness disappeared once i was on set. I felt really comfortable and at ease with Utt. He was really professional and i felt it was really easy to work with him. After the shoot, Lisa showed me some of the shots and i was really happy with the shots we took in the earlier part of the shoot. The rest of it, not so much. Overall though, i dont feel too confident this week….
Horse Stable Task
Woke up and…. YAY! I’M STILL HERE!! We were all in our rooms when suddenly we heard Lisa outside calling for us to meet her. Wondering what was happening, we went out and saw her carrying a pair of tongs and a waste basket! Immediately, I knew it was something to do with our house and HOW DIRTY IT IS!! HAHA!
So Lisa was going to inspect our rooms…Oh Boy, Bad choice Lisa! HAHA. I think our room is much messier in comparison to the other room. Naturally, Lisa was grossed out by the conditions we were living in. We then had to pick the 4 cleanest girls in the house and I was one of them!!! YAY! My first win for a task!
Lisa said we 4- Asha, Isabelle, Nansi and I were going for horse riding lessons!! The last time I rode a horse was soooo long ago that I barely remember anything. The other girls had to clean the stables. I’m so thankful I’ve got this opportunity to ride horses at the Singapore Turf Club in Kranji. We learnt how to steer the horse from left to right to left to right and how to stop it from moving.
I had Donny, a huge white horse. He was by-far the most fidgety amongst the horses and I was so afraid of him! We then proceeded to trotting and had to kinda stand and sit when they trot. I almost fell off him and had to grab on for dear life. I wished the lesson went on longer… though I was scared at first, I really enjoyed myself. I definitely want to have more horse riding lessons!
Elimination
Bottom 3 again. Argh! I really need to pull my socks up for the next photo challenge. However, I am glad that Lisa and Ase mentioned that there is improvements in my facial expressions.
Charlotte and Jacqueline were also in the bottom three. I was praying so hard for my photo to light up. I still stand by what I said during or plea with Lisa though. It is not just about producing amazing photos but also the attitude and professionalism that counts.
I’m just so grateful that I’ve a second chance to improve and work on being a better model. I really want this so bad and I’ve been trying and trying.
Being in the bottom 3 again does make me feel like I’m not good enough to remain in the house. But at the same time, it just makes me wanna work and try even harder. Totally not looking forward to the next elimination.
Horses Photoshoot Challenge
Photo Challenge Number 4!! Super excited and nervous at the same time Today, we are gonna be doing something with the horses at the Singapore Turf Club. So we headed there like really early, left our house at like 7am? And once we were there we were sent straight to hair and makeup done by the wonderful Benjamin. We all dressed up in our La Perla lingerie and I loved my set of white laced lingerie. Especially the bottom piece because the back was so so so sexy!!!!
So i worked with this wonderful calm horse called “Rock it”. It was oh-so-pretty and oh-so-calm. We, as a team, rocked the shoot beautifully. Rock it was gentle and tame, I loved it so so much. It’s black hair as so smooth as well. It was really a pleasure working with him. Unlike many of the girls’ partners, Rock it was obedient all the way! I’m so lucky to have him really =D
Hopefully my pictures are good enough to keep me from being in the bottom three. The girls are all so good and right now I feel I’m the weakest in my photos. Fingers Crossed though!
